What is happening?
Official Notice
and footway works and the installation of a zebra crossing, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic movements and parking in Bingham Road, Croydon.
2. Whilst the works are taking place:
a) Bingham Road will be closed between its junction with Lower Addiscombe Road and the tram line.
b) Parking within the closure area will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.
3. The Order will come into operation on 03 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 14 November 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
4. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Lower Addiscombe Road, Shirley Road and reversed.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
(c) any vehicle involved in carrying out the specified works.

CLIFF END, SELCROFT ROAD, PURLEY HILL & OAKWOOD AVENUE, PURLEY - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1.Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Cliff End, Purley Hill, Selcroft Road and Oakwood Avenue, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) The entire length of Cliff End will be closed from 03 to 28 November 2025.
b) The entire length of Selcroft Road will be closed from 14 November to 23 December 2025.
c) The entire length of Purley Hill will be closed from 28 November to 23 December 2025.
d) The entire length of Oakwood Avenue will be closed from 02 January to 13 February 2026.
3. During the closures, the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below.
• Cliff End – Access heavily restricted between 8am and 4pm but maintained outside of working hours.
• Selcroft Road – Via Warren Road, and Downs Court Road.
• Purley Hill – Via Oakwood Avenue, Downs Court Road, and Selcroft Road.
• Oakwood Avenue – Via Selcroft Road, Warren Road, Riddlesdown Road, and Downscourt Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 03 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed examination of the railway bridge, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Croham Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Croham Road will be closed between its junction with Muggeridge Close and the western boundary of Nos. 30a and 30c Croham Road.
3. The alternative route for vehicular traffic during the closure will be via Brighton Road, South End, Coombe Road, South Park Hill Road and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 06 November 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed overnight between 10pm and 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation work by UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic and parking in Ballards Way, Manor Way and Croham Valley Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Manor Way will be closed at its junction with Croham Valley Road from 30 October 2025 to 18 November 2025.
b) Ballards Way will be closed at its junction with Croham Valley Road from 05 January 2026 to 22 January 2026.
c) Croham Valley Road will be closed at its junction with Farley Road from 09 February 2026 to 24 February 2026.
d) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in Ballards Way from its junction with Croham Valley Road for 30 metres south-westwards from 05 January 2026 to 22 January 2026.
c) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in Manor Way from its junction with Croham Valley Road for 30 metres south-westwards from 30 October 2025 to 18 November 2025.
3. Whilst the closures are in place the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below.
• Manor Way: Via Croham Valley Road – Farley Road – Addington Road – Upper Selsdon Road – Croham Manor Road – Manor Way.
• Ballards Way: Via Croham Valley Road – Farley Road – Addington Road – Coombe Lane – Ballards Way.
• Croham Valley Road: Via Croham Valley Road – Ballards Way – Crest Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate cable installation work by UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Duppas Road, Arundel Close and Footpath 612.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Duppas Road will be closed north-westbound (towards Epsom Road) between its junctions with Duppas Hill Road and Epsom Road from 30 October to 28 November 2025.
b) Footpath 612 will be closed between its junctions with Violet Lane and Hillside Road from 01 December to 05 December 2025.
c) Vehicles emerging from Arundel Close will be banned from turning right into Duppas Road from 30 October to 28 November 2025.
d) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in Duppas Road between its junctions with Duppas Hill Road and Epsom Road from 30 October to 28 November 2025.
3. Whilst the closures are in place the alternative routes for vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be as detailed below.
• Duppas Road & Arundel Close: Via Epsom Road / A23 - Stafford Road A232 -- Epsom Road.
• Footpath 612: Via Hillside Road – Price Road – Violet Lane.
4. The Order will come into operation on 30 October 2025, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

3. During the closures, the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below.
• Haydn Avenue: Via Burcott Road, Old Lodge Lane and Lodge Hill or via Lodge Hill, Old Lodge Lane, and Colescroft Hill.
• Wontford Road: Via Colescroft Hill, Old Lodge Lane, and Whitefield Avenue.
• Whitefield Avenue: Via Old Lodge Lane and Reedham Park Avenue

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms mast maintenance works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Norbury Avenue, Norbury.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place
a) Norbury Avenue will be closed north-west bound (towards London Road) between its junction with London Road and the common boundary of Nos. 318 and 320 Norbury Avenue.
b) The Red Route loading/disabled bay adjacent to No. 328 Norbury Avenue will be suspended.
3. During the closure traffic will be diverted as detailed below.
