(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Love Lane, Frimley Gardens, Miles Road and Church Road or vice-versa.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into force on Monday 15th September 2025 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on Wednesday 17th September 2025. However, the Order will remain in operation for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(LATIMER ROAD AND WYCLIFFE ROAD, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer rehabilitation works in Latimer Road and Wycliffe Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.
During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in:-
(i) Latimer Road, from its junction with Wycliffe Road westward to the common boundary of Nos. 34 and 36 Latimer Road;
(ii) Wycliffe Road, from the southern boundary of No. 29 Wycliffe Road northward to the common boundary of Nos. 45 and 47 Wycliffe Road;
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
Any designated parking place situated in the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Vehicular traffic affected by road closures should proceed using South Park Road, Bridges Road and Latimer Road or vice-versa or using Wycliffe Road, Ridley Road and Merton Road or vice versa.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 1st September 2025 and the works are anticipated to be completed by Friday 5th September 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

(LYNDHURST AVENUE, SW16)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works in Lyndhurst Avenue, SW16, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to: -
(a) enter or proceed in Lyndhurst Avenue, from its junction with Northborough Road to the common boundary of Nos. 67 and 69 Lyndhurst Avenue; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order will apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions; or
(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the roads or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.
Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Stanford Road, Rowan Road and Northborough Road or vice-versa.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 17th September 2025 and it is anticipated the works will be carried out from 10am to 5pm that day. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
(SOMERSET ROAD, SW19)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 4) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate Thames Water works in Somerset Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:–
(a) enter or proceed in Somerset Road, from the common boundary of Nos. 46 and 48 Somerset Road, eastward to the eastern boundary of No. 50 Somerset Road;
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in the street or length of street specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
The restrictions and suspensions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to the properties adjacent the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Burghley Road, Calonne Road and Parkside or vice-versa.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 15th September 2025 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 26th September 2025. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
STANLEY ROAD, SW19
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025
The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate re-cladding works at No. 10 Stanley Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Stanley Road, the west side, from a point 36 metres north of its junction with The Broadway northward for a distance of 18 metres.
Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
The Order would come into operation on Friday 12th September 2025 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed by 14th February 2026. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should the works be required.
