Temporary Closure of Allerford Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Allerford Road -from 288 metres south-east of the junction with Hill Road, south-eastwards for a total distance of 99 metres.

This Order will enable Network Rail to carry out annual inspection works of level crossing.

The Order becomes effective on 9th November 2023 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 13th November 2023 and last until 14th November 2023 between the hours of 22:00 - 06:00 for a total of 1 night.
