The Devon County Council (A382, Stover Golf Club Accessway) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 
Compulsory Purchase Of Land And New Rights In The Of Teignbridge District Council 
Notice is hereby given that the Devon County Council has made The Devon County Council (A382, Stover Golf Club Accessway) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 under sections 239, 240, 246 and 250 of the Highways Act 1980. The Council is 
about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation and if confirmed the order will authorise the Devon County Council to purchase 
compulsorily the land and the new rights described below for the purpose of:- 
(a)  the construction of a highway and associated drainage infrastructure between Trago Mills Roundabout and Stover Golf Club at Ilford Park, in the District of Newton Abbot in the County of Devon; and 
(b) the provision of new means of access to premises in pursuance of the ‘The Devon County Council (A382 Stover Golf Club Accessway) (Side Roads) Order 2023’; and 
(c) mitigating the adverse effect which the existence or use of the proposed highway works will have on its surrounding; and 
(d) use by the acquiring authority in connection with the construction and improvement of highways, bridleways and footpaths; and 
(e) constructing a footway and cycleway adjacent to aforementioned new highway; and 
(f) the improvement or development of frontages to the above and mentioned new highways or of the land adjoining or adjacent thereto.

Electronic copies are available on request by email to legal.legalconveyancinginstructions-mailbox@devon.gov.uk or in writing to Legal Services (G03), County Hall, Topsham Road, Exeter, EX2 4QD quoting the Order title. Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Department for Transport, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR quoting the reference quoting the reference BLD/B13134, before  5 May 2023 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land. (Please note that in submitting an objection it should be noted that personal data and correspondence relating to any objection will be passed to Devon County Council in order that the Council can contact you directly to address the issues raised. If any person does not wish personal data to be so used, they should state why when submitting the objection and the Secretary of State will copy the representations to the Council with the name and address removed and if there is to be a local public inquiry the representations will be seen by the Inspector who may give them less weight). 
Description Of Land And New Rights In The District Of Teignbridge 
• All interests in 1042 square metres of woodland forming part of Ilford Park, Stover. 
• The right to construct, keep, use, maintain, inspect, cleanse, improve, and replace a drainage pipe in 178 square metres of woodland forming part of Ilford Park, Stover and a subsequent right of access and working space with or without workmen, materials, vehicles and equipment for the purposes of exercising the above rights.
