U9520 Various Footways At South Beach Estate Blyth - Temporary Footway Closure

U9520 VARIOUS FOOTWAYS AT SOUTH BEACH ESTATE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by pedestrian traffic on the following sections of footway in Blyth in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 28th March 2023 until the 9th May 2023 .
U9520 Alconbury Close Footway from its junction with Alconbury Close heading northeast for a distance of 32 metres. It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 28th March 2023 to 3rd April 2023, however, the order will remain in place until 9th May 2023.
The alternative route will be via Alconbury Close, Alconbury Close Footway and vice- versa.
U9520 Appledore Road Alconbury Close from its point in front of house number 11 Appledore Road heading east for a distance of 50 metres. It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 28th March 2023 to 3rd April 2023, however, the order will remain in place until 9th May 2023.
The alternative route will be via Appledore Road, Addington Drive, Ashford Close Alconbury Close Footway and vice versa.
U9520 Bexhill Square Appledore Road Footway, from its point at the gable end of house number 43 Bexhill Square Appledore Road Footway heading southwest for a distance of 60 metres. It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 30th March 2023 to 5th April 2023, however, the order will remain in place until 9th May 2023.
The alternative route will be via Bexhill Square, Banbury Way, Bexhill Square Aylesford Square Footway, Amberley Way and vice versa.
U9520 Ashford Close Alconbury Close Footway, from its point at the gable end of house number 15 Ashford Close heading northwards for a distance of 13 metres.
It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 4th April 2023 to 8th April 2023, however, the order will remain in place until 9th May 2023.
The alternative route will be via Ashwood Close Footway, Alconbury Close footway, Ashford Close Alconbury Close Footway and vice versa.
U9520 Ashford Close Footway from its point at the front of house number 17 Ashwood Close heading east for a distance of 40 metres. It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 10th April 2023 to 14th April 2023, however, the order will remain in place until 9th May 2023.
The alternative route will be via Ashwood Close Footway, Alconbury Close footway, Ashford Close Alconbury Close Footway and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Avonline Network to excavate a narrow trench to install micro-duct and subsequent installation of network in footway.
