(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in Blyth in the County of Northumberland.
U9502 Cowpen Road from its junction with B1329 Hodgsons Road heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 4 metres.
Vehicular traffic will have access via the north end of the road.
U9503 Cowpen Road from its junction with B1329 Hodgsons Road heading in a southerly direction for a distance of 4 metres.
Vehicular traffic will have access via the south end of the road.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th March 2023 until the 19th June 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th March 2023 until the 19th May 2023 however it will be closed at all times during this period.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to install replacement gas mains pipe in the carriageway.
