What is happening?

North Yorkshire County Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Station Road, Tadcaster,Order 2023, No.61

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Station Road, Tadcaster for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 13/03/23 & 30/06/23, due to works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the 35.54/19/1 Ryther Cum Ossendyke and 35.20/2/1 Cawood, between grid reference SE56293819 &; SE56823795 for a temporary period of up to 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 13/03/23 and 19/08/23 due to a broken bridge. (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING)(DISTRICT OF SELBY)(AMENDMENT NO 23) ORDER 2023. NOTICE is hereby given that on 3 March 2023 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Selby) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Barkston Ash , Orchard Close, North Side from the projected centre line of the junction with the A162 to east for 21m, no waiting at any time.Barkston Ash, Orchard Close, south side , from the projected centre line of the junction with the A162 to east for 21m, no waiting at any time. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 13/03/23, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Sherburn and Villages Community Library, Finkle Hill, Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds,LS25 6EA during normal office hours from 09/03/23 to 14/04/23 and also viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 03/03/23 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
TEMPORARY (30) MPH SPEED RESTRICTION, Heck Lane, Great Heck, ORDER 2023 NO 77 North Yorkshire County Council intends to make this Order that will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph along Heck Lane, Great Heck, due to road works. It is envisaged that the restriction will be in force from 27/03/23 until 30/06/23 inclusive.
