What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (A801 Lathallan Roundabout to Bowhouse Roundabout)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO.TTRO/1880) ORDER 2023

The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on the road locally known as A801 Lathallan Roundabout to Bowhouse Roundabout nightly from 19.00 hours until 07:00 hours from 05/03/2023 until 17/03/2023. The prohibition is to allow for the repainting and bearing replacement of the A801/60 Bridge.

1. Full details may be inspected online at http://www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/ or by contacting adteam3.ds@falkirk.gov.uk from 09/03/2023 – 17/03/2023.
2. This Order temporarily closes road A801 Lathallan Roundabout to Bowhouse Roundabout for 2,950m thereby where works will be carried out at the A801/60 overbridge. Local access to Almondhall Farm from Lathallan Roundabout will be maintained.
3. The alternative route is: A801 in a Northerly direction, M9 motorway junction 4 in an Easterly direction, Exit M9 motorway at junction 1 to A89 in a Westerly direction, A899 in a Southerly direction, M8 junction 3 in a Westerly direction, Exit M8 motorway at junction 4 to A801 in a Northerly direction and vice versa. Local access will be maintained.

PROPOSED CHANGES TO CAR PARKING CHARGES WITHIN THE FALKIRK COUNCIL AREA

Falkirk Council hereby gives notice under The Local Authorities’ Variation of Charges at Off-street and Designated Parking Places (Notice Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1997 and under Sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that it proposes to alter charges set under The Falkirk Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Decriminalised Parking Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2018 and under The Falkirk Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Decriminalised Parking Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2018 respectively for parking off-street and on-street in accordance with the undernoted schedule of charges. The altered charges will come into effect from 08.45am on Monday 03 April 2023.
