PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ALL ROADS WTHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th March 2023 made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Its effect will be to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from entering, waiting or proceeding along any road within Milton Keynes when the following highways maintenance works are required to be carried out: -
bridge inspections litter picking street lighting
bridge repairs mechanical sweeping street name plates
drainage micro-asphalt stud replacement
gritting pot hole repairs surface dressing
gully cleaning re-surfacing traffic signals
landscaping road markings all other maintenance activities
lining maintenance street furniture
The Council will serve a further notice no less than 7 days prior to a road closure.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 12th March 2023 and shall continue in force for a period of 18 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order, other than for emergency services vehicles, and military vehicles whilst being driven on operational duties.
All road closures will be advertised and clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual.
Any person committing a breach of the proposed order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WATER LANE, SHERINGTON) (TEMPORARY 15MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th March 2023 made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding at a speed in excess of 15mph along that part of Water Lane, Sherington from End Farm to Number 43 Water Lane to allow Cadent to access underground gas pipeline. The temporary 15mph speed restriction shall come into operation on 13th March 2023 – 17th March 2023 (24 Hours).
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 13th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 month and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order, other than for emergency services vehicles, and military vehicles whilst being driven on operational duties.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016). All affected properties will be notified of the forthcoming closures at least one week prior to the works taking place.

The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 LONDON ROAD (PART), MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th March 2023 made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow St James to carry out Vegetation works:
· London Road, Moulsoe – From its junction with A422 to its junction with Holiday Inn.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Portway, Tongwell Street, Willen Road, A422(and vice versa).
The above closure will take place between 11th March 2023 and 12th March 2023 (24 Hours) or until the said works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Warning signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 11th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.

PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS MILTON KEYNES – THE FESTIVAL OF RUNNING EVENT) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council, has on 7th March 2023 made an order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, for the purpose of facilitating the holding of a relevant event, namely the annual Milton Keynes Half Marathon and Festival of Running.
The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1) To temporarily close parts of Avebury Boulevard (including any car parking area access roads where relevant) and Marlborough Gate in Central Milton Keynes, V7 Saxon Street, H6 Childs Way, H7 Chaffron Way, The Spur Road and Golden Drive in Eaglestone, Waterside in Peartree Bridge, Flaxley Gate in Monkston, Colindale Street in Monkston Park and Tanfield Lane, Milton Road and Swanwick Lane in Broughton.
2) To temporarily prohibit right turn manoeuvres on to V7 Saxon Street from its junctions with H6 Childs Way, H7 Chaffron Way and Fulwoods Drive, Leadenhall and to prohibit right turn manoeuvres onto Saxon Street from Avebury Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes.
The temporary closures and right turn bans will be in effect on Sunday 12th March 2023 (between the hours of 8:00am and 2.00pm. The roads will re-open once the runners have passed through.
There shall be no exemptions from the provisions of the Order other than for emergency services vehicles.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016).
Pedestrian access to premises and properties shall be maintained throughout the closures.
The proposed order will come into operation on Sunday 12th March 2023 at 8:00am and will continue in force until the event is complete.
Any person committing a breach of the order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 013, SHENLEY CHURCH END) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th March 2023 made an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along part of Footpath 013, Shenley Church End, from its junction with Dansteed Way to its junction with Longhorn Drive.
Diversion route will be in place adjacent to the closure
In the interest of public safety and to enable the construction of the Housing Development the footpath will remain closed for a period of 6 months.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 11th March 2023 and will expire on 11th August 2023 (24 Hours) and will only take effect at times during the above period only when required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any restriction.
Any person committing a breach of the proposed order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STATION ROAD, WOBURN SANDS LEVEL CROSSING) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road from 11:00pm Saturday 18th March 2023 to 4:30am Monday 20th March 2023 in order to enable Network Rail to carry out Annual Inspections.
Station Road, Woburn Sands Level Crossing – From its junction with Summerline Drive to the junction of Turnpike Court
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Newport Road, A421, Bedford Road, Salford Road, A507, A4012, Turnpike Road and Crawley Road (vice versa).
Whilst the closure is in place pedestrian access will be maintained via Banksman on site when it is safe to do so.
The above closure is scheduled to be implemented on the above dates or until the said works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. Signs will be erected several days in advance to warn motorists of the dates and times when the road will be closed.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary and will come into effect at 11:00pm Saturday 18th March 2023 to 4:30am Monday 20th March 2023 and will take effect at times during the above period only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order except for emergency service vehicles on operational duties and pedestrians.

The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 9th March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OUSEBANK STREET (PART), NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to enable National Grid to carry out new connection and reinstatement works: -
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road: -
Ousebank Street, Newport Pagnell - from it’s junction with High Street to its junction with Number 3 Ousebank Street (20th March 2023 – 24th March 2023) (24 Hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via High Street, St John Street and Riverside (and vice versa).
The above closure will be in effect from 20th March 2023. Signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 20th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road. To allow Openreach to carryout maintenance works and access to underground network.
Dansteed Way V9 to V10, Downhead Park – From its junction with Neath Hill Roundabout to its junction with Colesbourne Place
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route (diversion route) will be via Overstreet, Monks Way, Brickhill Street, Dansteed Way (and vice versa).
Overstreet H4 to H5, Downhead Park – From its junction with Neath Hill Roundabout to its junction with Downs Barn Boulevard
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route (diversion route) will be via Overstreet, Monks Way, Brickhill Street, Portway (and vice versa).
The above closure will come into effect between 20th March 2023 – 23rd March 2023 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm each day).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS REDWAYS IN LOUGHTON, KILN FARM AND DENBIGH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the above Order will be to close parts of the following Redways on the below dates, to enable Milton Keynes Council to carry out essential resurfacing works on the redway:
Redway KF03 Kiln Farm – From its junction with Redway KF02 Kiln Farm for approximately 287 meters. 20th March 2023 – 23rd March 2023 – (24 Hours)
Whilst the above redway closure is in place the alternative route will be via Redway KF03 Kiln Farm, Redway HO01 Hodge Lea, RedwayKF02 Kiln Farm (and vice versa)
Redway MF03 Mount Farm – From its junction with Redway MF01 Mount Farm to its junction with Redway DE01 Denbigh East. 20th March 2023 – 23rd March 2023 – (24 Hours)
Whilst the above redway closure is in place the alternative route will be via Redway MF03 Mount Farm, Redway DN02 Denbigh, Redway DN02 Denbigh North, Denbigh Road, Redway DE01 Denbigh East (and vice versa)
Redway CMK02 Loughton – From its junction with Elder Gate to its junction with Linceslade Grove. 20th March 2023 – 23rd March 2023 – (24 Hours)
Whilst the above redway closure is in place the alternative route will be via Redway CMK01 Central Milton Keynes, Redway WL01 Winterhill, Redway LN04 Loughton, Linceslade Grove (and vice versa)
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016). All affected properties will be notified of the forthcoming closures at least one week prior to the works taking place.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Its effect will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along footpath 57 in Hanslope, as shown below: -
No person shall cause or permit any access to and along the following lengths of footpath: -
Footpath 057, Hanslope – From its junction with Footpath 54 Hanslope to its junction with Hartwell Road
