King Street, Alfreton - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
KING STREET, ALFRETON
WHEN: 13th March 2023 to 25th March 2023 (19:00 to 03:00)
WHERE: King Street, Alfreton between its junctions with New Street and Lincoln Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: King Street, B6018 High Street, B600 Nottingham Road, Unnamed section of B600 from Nottingham Road to A38, join A38 east locally known as Alfreton bypass, exit via Unnamed A38 off slip from A38 to A61 Derby Road Watchorn roundabout, A61 Derby Road, King Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
