Hall Street, Alfreton - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HALL STREET, ALFRETON
WHEN: Sunday 12th March 2023 (17:00 to 04:00) and Sunday 19th March 2023 (17:00 to 04:00)
WHERE: Hall Street, Alfreton between its junction with A61 King Street and New Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: King Street, Derby Road, Unnamed A38 off slip westbound from A38 to A61 Derby Road roundabout, Derby Road, King Street, High Street, Cressy Road and vice versa.
NOTE: Sunday 19th March 2023 the road closure on King Street will be suspended to allow these works to go ahead.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
