TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council have made an Order
under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or
proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that section of road that comprises of
the railway level crossing area on Station Road at Finningley in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst
upgrade to level crossings are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/pedestrians affected
by the Order is via Station Road, Blaxton Roundabout, Bank End Road, Wroot
Road, The Green A614, Doncaster Road and vice versa.

The Order will continue in force up to and including the 26th day of March 2023
or until the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said road have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.

1) 20:00hrs 11th March 2023 until 13:00hrs 12th March 2023
2) 20:00hrs 18th March 2023 until 13:00hrs 19th March 2023
3) 20:00hrs 25th March 2023 until 13:00hrs 26th March 2023
The road will reopen daily.
