What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A615 THE GREEN, WESSINGTON
WHEN: 27th March 2023 to 1st April 2023 (18:00 to 05:00 each night)
WHERE: A615 The Green, Wessington between a point 130 metres east of its junction with Moorwood Moor Lane for a distance of 350 metres in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A615 (from point of closure) to Matlock, A632 to Chesterfield, A619, A61 to Alfreton, Gooker Lane, A615 (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
