(PART OF THE ARCHWAY, MARKET
WEIGHTON)

TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any
vehicle to proceed along The Archway, Market Weighton
next to All Saints Court. The reason for the closure is to
enable the proposed works, to exchange a water meter
safely, to be carried out and completed in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. It is
anticipated that the works will be completed on
14 March 2023 between 09.30 hours and 15.30 hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via
the remainder of The Archway, St Helens Square,
The Green, Spring Road and Finkle Street.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians, residents
and for emergency services. The Order will commence on
14 March 2023 and continue for a period not exceeding
18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry
out have been completed, whichever is earlier.
