What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(MOOR LANE, FULL SUTTON (PART))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any
vehicle to proceed along part of Moor Lane, Full Sutton
from Low Burtonfields Access Road travelling westbound
for a distance of approximately 400 metres between 07.30
hours and 18.00 hours.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed
works to form passing places works, to be carried out
and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will be
completed by 21 April 2023.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via
Moor Lane, Moor Road, Church Road, Main Street, Roman
Road, Bridlington Road and Hatkill Lane.
The road will be open at all times to pedestrians and for
vehicular access to properties directly affected by the
closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence on 13 March 2023 and
continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or
until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.
