A190 AVENUE ROAD THE AVENUE SEATON DELAVAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in the County of Northumberland.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th March 2023 until the 21st March 2023 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st August 2023.
A190 Avenue Road from its junction with Blyth Street Back Lane heading northwards for a distance of 22 metres.
A190 The Avenue from its junction with Greenlands Court heading southwards for a distance of 72 metres.
A192 Astley Road from its junction with Prospect Avenue heading eastwards for a distance of 165 metres.
A192 At Seaton Delaval from its junction with Hartley Street heading westwards for a distance of 85 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th March 2023 until the 31st August 2023.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A192, A1061, A193, A190 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout remedial resurfacing of the roundabout due to deterioration of the roads surface.
