U6702 GREEN LANE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6702 Green Lane Ashington for a distance of 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th March 2023 until the 17th March 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the following dates and times during this period.
21:00 hours on the 10/03/2023 until 05:00 hours on the 11/03/2023
21:00 hours on the 11/03/2023 until 05:00 hours on the 12/03/2023
21:00 hours on the 12/03/2023 until 05:00 hours on the 13/03/2023
21:00 hours on the 16/03/2023 until 05:00 hours on the 17/03/2023
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Green Lane, Briardene, Remscheid Way, Black Close Bank, Newbiggin Road, North Seaton Road, Green Lane and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Centurion Site Services on behalf of Balfour Beatty to carryout track renewals on the level crossing.
