PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ALL ROADS WTHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Its effect will be to temporarily prohibit any vehicle from entering, waiting or proceeding along any road within Milton Keynes when the following highways maintenance works are required to be carried out: -
bridge inspections litter picking street lighting
bridge repairs mechanical sweeping street name plates
drainage micro-asphalt stud replacement
gritting pot hole repairs surface dressing
gully cleaning re-surfacing traffic signals
landscaping road markings all other maintenance activities
lining maintenance street furniture
The Council will serve a further notice no less than 7 days prior to a road closure.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 12th March 2023 and shall continue in force for a period of 18 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when maintenance or repair works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order, other than for emergency services vehicles, and military vehicles whilst being driven on operational duties.
All road closures will be advertised and clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual.
Any person committing a breach of the proposed order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WATER LANE, SHERINGTON) (TEMPORARY 15MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an order under Section 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding at a speed in excess of 15mph along that part of Water Lane, Sherington from End Farm to Number 43 Water Lane to allow Cadent to access underground gas pipeline. The temporary 15mph speed restriction shall come into operation on 13th March 2023 – 17th March 2023 (24 Hours).
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 13th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 month and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order, other than for emergency services vehicles, and military vehicles whilst being driven on operational duties.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016 (The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016). All affected properties will be notified of the forthcoming closures at least one week prior to the works taking place.

PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (A509 LONDON ROAD (PART), MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow St James to carry out Vegetation works:
· London Road, Moulsoe – From its junction with A422 to its junction with Holiday Inn.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Portway, Tongwell Street, Willen Road, A422(and vice versa).
The above closure will take place between 11th March 2023 and 12th March 2023 (24 Hours) or until the said works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Warning signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 11th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order except for emergency service vehicles on operational duties.

PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
The following statutory notice of Intent is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 013, SHENLEY CHURCH END) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit any access to and along part of Footpath 013, Shenley Church End, from its junction with Dansteed Way to its junction with Longhorn Drive.
Diversion route will be in place adjacent to the closure
In the interest of public safety and to enable the construction of the Housing Development the footpath will remain closed for a period of 6 months.
The temporary closure Order will come into effect on 11th March 2023 and will expire on 11th August 2023 (24 Hours) and will only take effect at times during the above period only when required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any restriction.
Any person committing a breach of the proposed order will be liable upon prosecution to such fine as is prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OVERSTREET H4 TO H5, DOWNHEAD PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 28th February 2023 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road. To allow Openreach to carryout maintenance works and access to underground network.
Overstreet H4 to H5, Downhead park – From its junction with Downs Barn Boulevard to its junction with Dansteed Way
The above closure will come into effect between 7th March 2023 – 9th March 2023 (Between 9:30am and 3:30pm each day).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route (diversion route) will be via Portway, Brickhill Street and Dansteed Way (and vice versa).

The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHICHELEY ROAD (PART), NORTH CRAWLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 28th February 2023 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow Openreach to carry out a new customer connection: -
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of road: -
· Chicheley Road, North Crawley – from its junction with Orchard Way to its junction with Gog Lane (6th March 2023 Between 9:30am and 3:30pm).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Brook End, North Crawley Road, Tickford Street, Sherington Road, Chicheley Hill, Chicheley Road (and vice versa).
The above closure will be in effect from 6th March 2023. Signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 6th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.

The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES (VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTWAYS IN CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 28th February 2023 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along various roads and footways in Central Milton Keynes in order to allow development works and delivery of materials:
For the purpose of the above Order, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, wait in or proceed along the following length of roads and footways between 9th March 2023 – 9th March 2024:
· Parking Access Road adjacent to Secklow Gate – From its junction with the access entrance from Secklow Gate for approximately 54 Meters in a northern direction.
· Parking Access Road adjacent to Avebury Boulevard – for approximately 88 meters to its junction with South 10th Street
· Various Footways around the development site will be closed in the interest of public safety
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Secklow Gate, Avebury Boulevard and South 10th Street (and vice versa).
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the development via signed access routes.
Signs will be erected several days in advance to inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 9th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 12 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order except for Emergency Service Vehicles.
The closures will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual. All affected properties will be notified of the forthcoming closures at least one week prior to works taking place.

PUBLIC NOTICE 8:
The following statutory notice of Making is hereby served on 2nd March 2023:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS AND REDWAYS IN SOUTH CALDECOTTE, BLETCHLEY, STACEY BUSHES, NEWPORT PAGNELL, REDMOOR, WAVENDON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 28th February 2023 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The closures are necessary to facilitate Anglian Water carrying out installation of new water connection and maintenance works.
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Wimblington Drive, Redmoor – At its junction with Standing Way. 20th March 2023 – 14th April 2023 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Standing Way (and vice versa).
Simpson Road, Bletchley - from its junction with the Sidings to its Junction with Bristow Close. 28th March 2023 – 30th March 2023 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Watling Street, Brickhill Road, Brickhill Street, Groveway and Simpson Drive (and vice versa).
Redway GLF02, Glebe Farm – From its junction with Redway WV09 Wavendon Gate to its junction with the Dankworth Way. 27th March 2023 – 29th March 2023 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via the redway on the opposite side of Newport Road (and vice versa).
Filgrave, Newport Pagnell – Outside North Lodge. 27th March 2023 – 29th March 2023 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be A509, Bridge Street, Weston Road, Olney Road, B526 (and vice versa).
Erica Road, Stacey Bushes – At its junction with Monks Way. 20th March 2023 – 25th March 2023 (Between 10:00pm and 6:00am each night).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Monks Way, Great Monks Street (and vice versa)
Church Street, Bletchley – Outside Number 43 Church Street. 6th March 2023 – 8th March 2023 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Aylesbury Street, George Street and Victoria Road (and vice versa)
Brickhill Street, South Caldecotte – From its junction with Caldecotte Lake Drive to its junction with Heybridge Crescent. 8th March 2023 – 14th March 2023 (24 Hours)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Bletcham Way, A5 and Brickhill Road (and vice versa).
The temporary Order will come into effect on 6th March 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 months and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
There will be no exemptions from the provisions of the proposed Order except for emergency service vehicles on operational duties.
