Public Footpath No.30, Barlow Part - Temporary Footpath Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ORDER
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.30, BARLOW (PART)
WHEN: 17th March 2023 to 15th September 2023 WHERE: Close public footpath No.30 (part) from the junction of public footpath No.31 to where it meets the junction of public footpath No.32 (The footbridge that crosses Crowhole Brook). REASON: To facilitate public safety due to damaged foot bridge caused by a fallen tree.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Carry on south along footpath No.31. Then northeast along footpath No.32 which meets the open section of footpath No.30 (The footbridge that crosses Crowhole Brook). Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
