Kensal Road - Temporary Road Closure For Crane Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES KENSAL ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1)(A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Kensal Road to be closed from the junction of Bosworth Road to the junction of Wedlake Street.
To be closed from 06.00hrs on Saturday 11th February 2023, unto 18.00hrs on Sunday 12th February 2023, with backup dates of Saturday 18th February 2023 until Sunday 19th February 2023.
Diverted through traffic may use Kensal Road, Ladbroke Grove, Chesterton Road, Golborne Road, Kensal Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
