PARISH OF KYLOE PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 9
(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Kyloe Public Footpath No 9, in the County of Northumberland.
The length of Public Footpath No 9 which is affected is as follows:-
Parish of Kyloe Public Footpath No 9
From a point on the U32 road, 640 metres north of Fenwick Granary in a general northerly direction, for a distance of 670 metres, crossing the East Coast Main Railway Line, to a point on the eastern side of the East Coast Main Railway Line, 1070 metres north-west of Fenham.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th February 2023 until 13th August 2023.
There is an alternative route available, from a point on the U32 road, 640 metres north of Fenwick Granary in an easterly direction for a distance of 820 metres, to a point 205 metres west of Fenham, then in a general north westerly direction, along an aggregate track, for a distance of 1170 metres, to a point on the eastern side of the East Coast Main Railway Line, 1070 metres north-west of Fenham.

The closure has been requested by Network Rail in the interests of public safety, to carry out improvement works associated with the crossing.
