(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highway in the County of Northumberland:
U29 Fenwick Junction To West Main Street Junction at its junction to the A1
U30 Fenham Hill Junction to Mount Hooley Junction at its junction to the A1
The Order is to be effective from the 16th January 2023 until the 13th June 2023.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 16th January 2023 until the 30th May 2023 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U29,U30 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by National Highways due to drainage works on the A1 northbound carriageway.
There will only be one junction closed at a time.
