What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HINDERSITCH LANE, WHATSTANDWELL
WHEN: 23rd January 2023 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Hindersitch Lane, Whatstandwell between Coddington Lane and the entrance to Coddington Hall Farm.
REASON: To facilitate BT Openreach pole testing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hindersitch Lane, Carr Lane, Town End, Cromford Road, Bowns Hill, Sandy Lane, Crich Road, Shaws Hill, Top Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. Please note that these works will not be carried out at the same time as the works on Top Lane. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
