PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS Nos 1, 3 AND 40
(TEMPORARY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Eglingham Public Bridleways Nos 1, 3 & 40, in the County of Northumberland.
The lengths of Public Bridleways which are affected is as follows:-
Public Bridleway No 1
From a point on the southern boundary of woodland 60 metres north of the C47 road in a northerly direction for a distance of 300 metres to the junction with Parish of Ellingham Public Bridleway No 7 at the parish boundary south of Wandylaw Bog.
Public Bridleway No 3
From a point 520 metre north-east of Haughterslaw on the southern boundary of woodland in north-easterly direction for a distance of 160 metres to the junction with Public Bridleway No 40 and Parish of Ellingham Public Bridleways Nos 6 & 9 at the parish boundary, south-east of Wandylaw Bog.
Public Bridleway No 40
From a point 615 metre north-east of Haughterslaw on the southern boundary of woodland in northerly direction for a distance of 150 metres to the junction with Public Bridleway No 3 and Parish of Ellingham Public Bridleways Nos 6 & 9 at the parish boundary, south-east of Wandylaw Bog.
There are no alternative routes.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th January 2023 until the 16th July 2023.

The closures have been requested by Forestry England in the interests of public safety to carry out the clearance of windblown trees.
