Chesterfield Road, Oakerthorpe Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CHESTERFIELD ROAD, OAKERTHORPE

WHEN: 25th January 2023 (00:00 to 17:00)
WHERE: Chesterfield Road, Oakerthorpe between its junctions with Amber Green and A615 Matlock Road.
REASON: To facilitate the maintenance of National Grid overhead apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chesterfield Road, Four Lane Ends, Wingfield Road, Gooker Lane, King Street, Main Road, Belper Road, Unnamed Road from Amber Valley Borough Council district boundary to Belper Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
