What is happening?

Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C406 Bridge Terrace To Red Row Bedlington from its point 90 metres south of the junction with Red Row Drive heading southwards for a distance of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C406 Bridge Terrace To Red Row Bedlington from its point 90 metres south of the junction with Red Row Drive heading southwards for a distance of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd January 2023 until the 27th January 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd January 2023 until the 27th January 2023 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 daily during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Bridge Terrace/Stakeford Road, Ravensworth Street, Barrington Road, Red Row Drive and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Amberon Traffic Management on behalf of QTS Rail to undertake bridge works.
