What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
ROES LANE, CRICH
WHEN: 11th January 2023 to 12th January 2023 (08:00 to 16:00)
WHERE: Roes Lane, Crich between its junction with Sherwood Drive and the entrance to Cross Farm.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of a BT telegraph pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Roes Lane, B6035: Bowns Hill/ Market Place/ Sandy Lane/ Crich Road / Thurlow Booth/ Main Road, A6: Derby Road/ Matlock Road, A610: Canal Side/Ripley Road/ Ladygrove/ Ripley Road, B6013: Chesterfield Road, B5035: Holme Lane/ Church Lane/ Manor Road/ Garner Lane/ Park Head and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
