What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Moneyfield Avenue) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and

Waiting) (No.5) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under
Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 9 th January 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
MONEYFIELD AVENUE From its junction with Dover Road to its
junction with Martin Road on both sides.

B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate works to undertake 6 new water service connections.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 9 th January 2023 to 20 th January 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is
sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
