What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Dorking Crescent) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving, Loading and Waiting) (No.6) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 10th January 2023 and the effect will be as follows:-
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, LOADING AND WAITING
DORKING CRESCENT
From its junction with Magdala Road to outside No 1 (35 meters).
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate pole replacement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 09:30 to 15:30 on 10th January 2023 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Magdala Road - Dorking Crescent and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
