What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SPA LANE, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 4th January 2023 to 5th January 2023 (08:00 to 15:00 each day)
WHERE: Spa Lane, Chesterfield between its junction with the B6543 St Marys Gate to its junction with Station Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway chamber works on St Marys Gate.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6543 St Marys Gate, Corporation Street, Station Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
