(CLOSURE OF SECTIONS OF FOOTPATHS IN HOLLY COURT AREA, SUNDERLAND)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS 2022
Sunderland City Council gives notice that it intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians along sections of the footpaths described in the Schedule. The Order is required to enable works to locate gas mains in or near the footpaths. The Order will come into operation on 3rd January 2023. The maximum duration of the closure under the Orders will be 6 months, however it is estimated that the closure will be in place for 23 days from commencement of the works. All pedestrians will be prohibited from the sections of footpaths described in the Schedule below (except personnel involved in the works) until the works are completed or at such times and to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the display of traffic signs.

Holly Court – from the northern building line of no.5 Holly Court to the extended eastern building line of no.25 Holly Court
Holly Court – from the extended southern building line of no.26 Holly Court for a distance of 168 metres to its junction with Hylton Road
Holly Court – from the western property boundary of no.5 Holly Court for a distance of 54 metres in an easterly direction.
