What is happening?

SOUTH TYNESIDE COUNCIL
(CAULDWELL/MORTIMER ROAD AREA, SOUTH SHIELDS) ORDER 2022
South Tyneside Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to: INTRODUCE No Waiting At Any Time on access road leading to Mortimer Primary School both sides from its junction with Mortimer Rd for 10m; Cauldwell Ave both sides from a point 10m west of its junction with Warwick Rd to a point 10m east of its junction with Warwick Rd and from its junction with Mortimer Rd in an easterly direction for 10m; Hepscott Terr both sides from a point 5m west of is junction with Warwick Rd to a point 5m east of its junction with Warwick Rd; Morpeth Ave both sides from a point 5m west of its junction with Warwick Rd to a point 5m east of its junction with Warwick Rd; Mortimer Rd
both sides from a point 10m north of its junction with Cauldwell Ave to a point 10m south of its junction with Cauldwell Ave and southwest side from a point 10m north of its junction with Reading Rd to a point 30m south of its junction with Reading Rd; Warwick Rd both sides from a point 10m north of its junction with Hepscott
Terr to a point 10m south of its junction with Hepscott Terr and from a point 10m north of its junction with Morpeth Ave to a point 10m south of its junction with Morpeth Ave and from a point 10m north of its junction with Cauldwell Ave to a point 10m south of its junction with Cauldwell Ave. Full details of these proposals are contained in the draft order which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected
from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at the Town Hall at the address below. Alternatively, you can request a copy of the documentation by emailing lynne.sloan@southtyneside.gov.uk. If you wish to raise an objection, express support or make any other observations about these proposals, you must make them in writing to the Council’s Legal Services Department at the address below or by using the same email address above by the 17 October 2022. Any objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
