What is happening?
(South Gyle Road) (Temporary road restriction and Traffic Regulation) (no.2) order 2026 - Temp/26/174
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate SGN new gas connection works, no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of; &
(b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: South gyle rd, from the extended south-west kerbline of Broomhill Dr, south-westwards to the extended north-east kerbline of Wester Broom Ter.
Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of South gyle rd is Broomhall Dr, Wester Broom Ave & Wester Broom Ter.
The Order shall have effect from 09/11/26 to 27/11/26.
