What is happening?
(Parker Avenue / Road) (Temporary Road Restriction And Traffic Regulation) order 2026 – TemP/26/171
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway resurfacing works, no person shall except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on:
(i) Parker Ave (north side)
(1), from 4.5m west of the extended west kerbline of Parker Rd, westwards for 45m; (south side)
(2), from 3.5m west of the extended west kerbline of Parker Rd, westwards for 55m; and (3), from 55m west of the extended west kerbline of Parker Rd, westwards for 42m; and
(ii) Parker rd (west side)
(1), from the extended south kerbline of Parker Ave, southwards for 4.5m; and (2), from the extended north kerbline of Parker Ave, northwards for 9m. The
restrictions in the Order shall not be enacted at the same time.
The Order shall have effect from 09/11/26 to 04/12/26.
