Barnet - Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Mains Replacement Works
What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) - Temporary Road Closure Temple Fortune Lane NW11
THE BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate gas mains replacement works, they intend to make an Order which will close Temple Fortune Lane NW11 between its junction with Finchley Lane, south-eastwards for a distance of 15 metres, while the works take place.
The works will commence on Monday 16th November 2026 and is expected to last for 19 days.
The alternative route for motorists will be via:
a) Finchley Road, Hoop Lane and Meadway Gate and;
b) Finchley Road, Hampstead Way, Meadway and Temple Fortune Lane.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
