NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director – Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Parsonage Way, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Parsonage Way, Leigh on 15th December 2026 between the hours of 22:00 and 23:59 only.
The alternative route for traffic is: Atherleigh Way – Leighbrook Way.
The Order is necessary to allow frame and cover.
Briefield Avenue, Atherton – Temporary Closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director – Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Briefield Avenue, Atherton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Briefield Avenue, Atherton on 14th December 2026 to 18th December 2026.
The alternative route for traffic is: Derby Street – Car Bank Street – Flapper Fold Lane
The Order is necessary to allow new electric connection.
