(BILSTON ROAD BUS LANE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Bilston Road Bus
Lane, inbound, opposite A1 Wheel Renovations and
The Tyre Shop.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken
from 15 November 2026 until 18 November 2026, between
the hours of 01:30 and 04:00. It is also anticipated that the
closure will operate on 22 November 2026, between the
hours of 01:30 and 07:00.
The Order is required to facilitate works for OLE span wire
replacement by MMA Construction (Midlands Metro).
