No access for emergency services, the diversion route must be maintained.

2) U50020 Barbourne Terrace from its junction with A38 Barbourne Rd to its junction with U50021 Woodbine Rd.

3) U51000 St. Georges Ln North from its junction with A38 Barbourne Rd to its junction with U50128 Henry St and to temporarily suspend that part of the Bus Lane on A38 Barbourne Rd between its junction with U50132 Sunnyside Rd to its junction with U51000 St Georges Ln North, so far as is required to facilitate the movement of normal traffic for the duration of the work.

Reason: To raise 4 pedestrian crossing points by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of C1142 Birchwood Rd from a point 232 metres northeast of its junction with C2064 Longley Green to Stocks Ln Alfrick for a distance of 320 metres in a northerly direction.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Various Roads, Kempsey] and Worcestershire County Council (Ellsdon, Kempsey) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2026

On 22 October 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of roads in Kempsey:

Oakfield Drive (east & west sides) from its junction with Post Office Lane for a distance of 14.7m in a southerly direction.

Post Office Lane (south side) from its junction with Oakfield Drive for a distance of 15m in an easterly direction and 24m in a westerly direction.

Post Office Lane (north side) from its junction with the easternmost junction of Ellsdon for a distance of 10m in an easterly direction and 4.4m in a westerly direction.

Ellsdon (easternmost section – east side) for a distance of 23.7m in a northerly direction from its junction with Post Office Lane.

Ellsdon (easternmost section – west side) for a distance of 27.7m in a northerly direction from its junction with Post Office Lane.

Ellsdon (east side) from its junction with Ellsdon Rise for a distance of 16.5m in a southerly direction.

Ellsdon (west side) from its junction with Ellsdon Rise for a distance of 14.2m in a southerly direction.

Ellsdon (section to the north of Ellsdon Rise-east side) for a distance of 11.5m in a northerly direction.

Ellsdon (section to the north of Ellsdon Rise-west side) for a distance of 12.8m in a northerly direction.

Ellsdon (section to the west of Ellsdon Rise-south side) for a distance of 8.0m in a westerly direction.

Ellsdon (section to the west of Ellsdon Rise-north side) for a distance of 7.0m in a westerly direction.

Ellsdon (westernmost section-east side) from a point 58.7m north of its junction with Post Office Lane for a distance of 16.4m in a northerly direction.

Proposed restricted waiting 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday

Ellsdon (south side) from a point 30m west of its junction with Ellsdon Rise for a distance of 84.7m in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

Worcestershire County Council also made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school keep clear markings at any time as follows: - Ellsdon (westernmost section-north and west sides) from a point 75.1m north of its junction with Post Office Lane for a distance of 24.1m in a westerly and southerly direction.

The Orders will come into operation on 12 November 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Footpaths BH-575, BH-577 & BH-586 Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 28 May 2026 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpaths BH-575, BH-577 & BH-586 Broadheath from Oldbury Road OSGR 382497, 255413 to the junction with Bridleway 570 & 571 at 382641, 255730 and to the junction with Footpath 609 & 618 at 381422, 255974, which was due to expire on 8 November 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 8 May 2028 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made as a result of plant movement and groundworks associated with a housing development.

Alternative route: along Bridleway BH-571, U54000 Oldbury Road, Bridleways BH-593, BH-592, Footpaths BH-582, 611 & 618 and vice versa.
