(C2013 Caunsall Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2013 Caunsall Rd from its junction with U13211 Kinver Ln to its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Rd.

Reason: New/Replacement Electricity Cable by Mua Electricity Limited.

Alternative route: C2013 Bridge Rd, C2283 Castle Rd, A449 Wolverhampton and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 9 November 2026.

(C2082 Fox Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2082 Fox Ln from its junction with A448 Kidderminster Rd to its junction with U13610 Dobes Ln.

Reason: Drainage work by WCC.

Alternative route: A448 Kidderminster Rd, A448 Bromgrove Rd, C2014 Curlow Ln, C2082 Cakebole, C2082 Cakebole Ln and vice versa.

No access for emergency vehicles, the diversion route must be maintained.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 30 November 2026.

(U13601 Barrow Hill Lane, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U13601 Barrow Hill Ln from its junction with C2017 Drayton Rd to its junction with U13605 Chaddesley Ln.

Reason: Carriageway Patching for Surface Dressing WCC.

Alternative route: U13605 Chaddesley Ln, U13605 Tanwood Ln, C2017 Drayton Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 10 November 2026 and 24 November 2026.

(U11319 Leapgate Lane, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U11319 Leapgate Ln from its junction with C2140 Charlton Ln to its junction with U11318 Wilden Top Rd.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2140 Charlton Ln, B4193 Stourport Rd, U11318 Wilden Top Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 9 November 2026.

(U12147 New Road, Kidderminster) (Southbound) and (Prohibition of Right & Left Turn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U12147 New Rd in a southerly direction only from its junction with U12149 Tram St to its junction with U12181 Pump St. There shall be a prohibition of left turn from its junction with U12181 Pump St onto U12148 Green St and a prohibition of right turn from its junction with U12181 Pump St onto U12148 Green St (over different days).

Reason: Utility work by M&A Doocey Civil Engineering.

Alternative route:

Diversion – New Rd closure: U12147 New Rd (Northbound), U12155 Oxford St, U12148 Green St.

Diversion – No Left Turn: U12147 New Rd (Northbound), U12155 Oxford St, U12148 Green St.

Diversion – No Right Turn: U12147 New Rd (Northbound), U12155 Oxford St, A448 Comberton Hill Roundabout, A451 The Ringway, A451 The Ringway Roundabout.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 9 November 2026.

(C2187 Butts Lane & U13618 Barrs Lane, Stone) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of: 1) C2187 Butts Ln from its junction with C2187 Stanklyn Ln to its junction with C2187 Back Ln. 2) U13618 Barrs Ln from its junction with C2187 Butts Ln for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Water main replacement by STW.

Alternative route: Diversion 1 – A450 Worcester Rd, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A448 Stone Hill, C2081 Stanklyn Ln, C2187 Stanklyn Ln and vice versa. Diversion 2 – C2187 Butts Ln (part), A450 Worcester Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days (24hrs). Commencing: 30 November 2026.

(C2195 Heightington Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2195 Heightington Rd from its junction with C2195 Leigh Ln to its junction with Park End (private road).

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: No suitable diversion route recommended.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 1 December 2026.

(U10213 Yew Tree Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U10213 Yew Tree Ln from its junction with U10202 Richmond Rd to its junction with U10215 The Lakes Rd.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Alternative route: U10215 The Lakes Rd, U10202 Richmond Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 22 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 30 November 2026.

(C2024 Pensax Road, Abberley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2024 Pensax Rd from its junction with B4202 Pensax to its junction with A443 Stockton Rd.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing in civil works over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: B4202 Pensax, B4202 Clows Top Rd, C2230 The Common, A443 Stockton Rd, A443 Stockton and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 1 December 2026 and 15 December 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Limited Waiting on Park Lane, Kidderminster] (Revocation).

On 22 October 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to revoke limited waiting 2 hours no return 1 hour 8am–6pm Mon-Sat on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster: -

Park Lane (East side): From a point 65m north of its junction with Castle Road, for a distance of 22m in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 12 November 2026.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
