Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
WHATELEY LANE, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable telegraph pole works.
Order Commences: 13 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: Whateley Lane, Hockley Road, Gorsy Bank Road, Overwoods Road, Trinity Road and vice versa.

POUND LANE, OVER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water connection through verge and carriageway.
Order Commences: 10 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: Pound Lane, Tamworth Road, Atherstone Road and vice versa.

GROVE LANE, WISHAW
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic, 75m from Ox Leys Road heading eastbound.
Reason for Order: To safely replace a telegraph pole.

Access & Diversion: Grove Lane, Church Lane, The Gravel, Ryefield Lane and vice versa.

Access & Diversion: Middleton Lane, Lichfield Road, Tamworth Road, Park Lane and vice versa.

Order Effect: Road closed between B4098 Tamworth Road/ Nuneaton Road and Hurley Lane, Over Whitacre.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works, closed 09.30hrs - 15.30hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 23 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 27 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: B4116, B4114, A444, A47, A444, A5, B4116 and vice versa.

OLD A453 TAMWORTH ROAD, MIDDLETON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic outside the McDonalds restaurant leading to the roundabout.
Reason for Order: Essential electricity infrastructure works.
Order Commences: 26 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: Old London Road, Sutton Road, Bassetts Pole Roundabout, London Road.

A446 LICHFIELD ROAD & D377 DUNTON LANE, WISHAW
Order Effect: A446 Lichfield Road closed to vehicular traffic between Dunton Lane and the Belfry Island (north and southbound carriageways).
In addition, a one-way traffic flow will be imposed on D377 Dunton Lane, Wishaw between Rye Farm Business Park and A446 Lichfield Road prohibiting traffic travelling eastbound to join A446 Lichfield Road. (Traffic will be unable to access A444 Lichfield Road from Dunton Lane).
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs - 06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 27 November 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 November 2026.
Access & Diversion: A446 Lichfield Road – A446, A38, A4097, A446 (Dunton Island) and vice versa. Dunton Lane egress will be via Ryefield Lane, Grove Road to join diversion above.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
