What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
VARIOUS ROADS, OLD BRAMPTON
WHEN: 23 November to 27 November 2026 (09:30 to 15:00 each day).
WHERE: Main Road, Hemming Green, Hollins, Old Brampton from the jct. with Woodnook Lane to the jct. with Netherfield Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashgate Road, Slack Lane, Old Road, Storrs Road, A619 Chatsworth Road / Baslow Road / Chesterfield Road, Old Brampton Road, Stonelow, Unnamed Road from jct. with B6050 to Main Road, Wigley and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
