(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the A330 Brockenhurst Road from its junction with Coronation Road to its junction with St Mary’s Hill.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via A330 Brockenhurst Road, A330 Station Hill, A329 High Street, A329 London Road, A329 Blacknest Road, A30 London Road, A330 Devenish Road and A330 Brockenhurst Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely carriageway repairs and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation between 09:00 hours and 15:30 hours on Thursday 12 November 2026. Vehicles will be prohibited when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
