The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (East Midlands) (No.17) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length and eastern part width and a length and western part width of an unnamed highway as lies off Mansfield Road at Clipstone in the District of Newark and Sherwood. This is to enable development as permitted by Newark and Sherwood District Council under reference 23/00832/FULM.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft. gov.uk (quoting SUO5690132). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at One Stop, 50 Mansfield Road, Clipstone Mansfield, NG21 9EQ.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 04 November 2026.
