Dukeswood Drive, Hythe & Dibden - Temporary Road Closure due to Gas Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – DUKESWOOD DRIVE, HYTHE & DIBDEN, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Dukeswood Drive between its junction with Frayslea and its junction with Ingle Glen.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dukeswood Drive, Partridge Road, Heatherstone Avenue.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 16th November 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 11 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to complete gas stub replacement. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: customer@sgn.co.uk.
