What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WEST END / STORTH LANE, PINXTON
WHEN: 23 November 2026 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: West End / Storth Lane, Pinxton between the jct. of West End to the jct. of Old Storth Lane.
REASON: To facilitate BT cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: West End, Alfreton Road, Pinxton Lane, Mansfield Road, Storth Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
