PROPOSALS
Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has made the above Order on 21 October 2026, which comes into operation on 2 November 2026.
SUPPORTING INFORMATION
From 30 October 2026 a copy of this Notice, a copy of the Order, the reasons for the proposals and the Order being amended, may be inspected online at:
http://www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk/highwayconsultations (search ref P137) and at the Customer Contact Centre, BCP Council, St Stephen’s Road, Bournemouth, BH2 6EA (by appointment only Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm, contact: traffic@bcpcouncil.gov.uk).
REPRESENTATIONS
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, as amended, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from 21 October 2026, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

The traffic restrictions on the following roads advertised and consulted on in the proposals reference P137 from 17 July 2026 to 7 August 2026 are due to be implemented on: East Overcliff Dr BH1 and Rolls Dr BH6 and are not due to be implemented on: Borthwick Rd BH1, Burton Rd BH13, Canford Ave BH11, Capstone Rd BH8, Christchurch Rd BH7, Chestnut Way BH23, Clarendon Rd BH23, Garland Rd BH15, Harcourt Rd BH5, Henville Rd BH8, Holloway Ave BH11, Kings Ave BH23, Knowlton Rd BH17, Manor Rd BH23, Newstead Rd BH6, Norton Way BH15, Park Grdns BH23, Park Lake Rd BH15, Peregrine Rd BH23, Pine Ave BH6, Pottery Rd BH14, Priory View Rd BH23, Russell Dr BH23, St Anthony’s Rd BH2, St Michael’s Rd BH2, Slades Farm Rd BH10, Stour Rd BH23, Viscount Walk BH11, Whatleigh Cl BH15, Warncliffe Rd BH5.
