TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (BOLTONS PLACE & THE BOLTONS) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Boltons Place to be closed at the junction of The Boltons.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 16th November 2026 until 18.00hrs on Friday 20th November 2026 with a backup date of Monday 30th November 2026 until Friday 4th December 2026.
Diverted through traffic may use Boltons Place, Boltons Gardens, The Little Boltons. Tregunter Road, The Boltons in both directions.
The One-way working of The Boltons is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
