What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MAIN STREET, INGLEBY
WHEN: 24 November 2026 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Main Street, Ingleby between Ingleby Lane and Sycamore Farm.
REASON: To facilitate pole testing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Main Street, Unnamed Section of C241 from Main Street Ingleby to A514 Swarkestone Bridge, Swarkestone Bridge, Derby Road, Unnamed Section of A514 from Stanton Hill to B587, Stanton Hill, Ingleby Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
