What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE HOLLINGTON LANE, MAIN STREET, EDNASTON
WHEN: 23 November to 04 December 2026 (working days between 09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: Hollington Lane, Main Street, Ednaston between jct. with Shirley Lane and jct. with Derby Lane, Ednaston.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hollington Lane, Common Side, Main Road, Windy Arbour, Ashbourne Road, Moor Lane, Long Lane, Hoargate Lane, Main Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re- open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
