MOLD
The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 30th October 2026 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Archway between its junctions with Lys Nercwys and The Firs in Mold in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate essential maintenance and upgrade works by O’Connor Utilities Ltd on behalf of Scottish Power.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 16th November 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will be closed for 3 weeks or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.
